WebiX a J2EE Standard

WebiX is a Web/Application server that provides you with the tools to easily deploy and extend HP e3000 applications to the Web using Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) standards. WebiX helps Build and Deploy applications much quicker without compromising power. WebiX handles all the redundant tasks and allows developers to only code the specific business logic that is unique to your business. WebiX separates Business logic, presentation and connectivity for easy management. Pooling starts when the server is started. A Pooling manager, manages connections during peak and non-peak hours. Connections can also be made to other platforms and database managers.

Business Objects

WebiX offers pre-written business Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) that can be used out of the package or just simply extend our objects and add in your own logic. The Beans model applications that you would normally web enable.

The Beans can be used with your HP e3000 or just simply change the Data Access Objects (DAO) in order to access other system's databases.

EJB's can be used from any Client, not just a browser. You can find many major applications using EJB's (SAP/R3, PeopleSoft...).
