They typically include an address book, calendar, and to-do list, mimicking the paper-based format of each. PIMs enable you to maintain your personal information, as well as basic information about Sales Force Automations, but do not allow you to integrate information such as linking documents or e-mail communications to a Sales Force Automation. Some PIMs provide basic Sales Force Automation tracking and searching functionality. Software Companies like Sage India specialises in Sales Force Automation for SME and SMB's. You can get more information from their website: http://www.sagesoftware.co.in/SubSubProduct.aspx?SubProductId=24 About the Author Content Writer for Sage India on different software products Server 2003 and Mac? I need some help on how to make macs (OSX 10) connect to a 2003 server the same way windows xp nodes connect to the server (ie. log on and it loads profile, log off and it saves profile) I am only familiar with PC's and Window servers (2003) I have successfully connected to the server with a mac via smb: however this only allowed me to view our shared drive and use our networked printers but how do i get it to save a profile for those mac users on the server? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Remember that the two machines are running different operating-systems with different software - so any windows policy/profile is irrelevant on the Mac, and similarly, the Mac profile is not relevant on the Windows side. That said, should you want to, you can integrate the Mac into Active Directory by enabling the relevant flag in the "/Applications/Utilities/Directory Access" program.
