HELP! Windows 2000 won't start in Safe Mode w/ Networking, VGA, or Last Known Good Config?

I can't start my computer normally at all, it get's to the login screen and restarts.
It loads in normal Safe Mode, but I have about 2 GB of data that I need to backup and then I can just do a reformat/re-install. I can't use USB or Firewire or burn a DVD to back up because the drivers aren't loaded.
I tried Safe Mode w/ Networking to back up the files on the server and/or Internet, and it won't get past the login screen.
VGA Mode and Last Known Good Config can't get past the login screen either.

Use another Hard-Drive and set it's jumper on Master. Install a Windows XP or 2000 on it and use your old HDD as a Slave Drive. That way you can view and retrive your files from your old Hard-Drive then burn them in CD's of preferably a DVD-R.
