Touchscreen head units - Any reviews out there??

I am looking into upgrading my car audio system with one of the newer touchscreen head units. The one that has all the features I like is the Dual XDVD 8285 from Crutchfield. I am wondering if anyone has any feedback on these units. Either problems with the unit or its installation.

yes, Dual is sold at Walmart, along with Jensen, Sony and bottom shelf Pioneer products, if you go down to your local pro sound shop and see a product in there, it is likely a way better product than Walmart! Most units are the same size as your typical 1 din h/u, some may be a little longer, then there are those which have a separate processing unit(typically one with navigation) which will make the install somewhat more complex and difficult for newbies. While the greatest difference is weight, if installed yourself, you will want to ensure all mounting points are SECURE, and no shake or wiggle will be experienced by the unit. I recently installed a Pioneer AVH5700DVD, and am very pleased with the quality, sound and picture as well as features. As for sound quality I am using the best Alpine eq they ever produced, the ERE-G180, so your sound would not likely be so clean. Stay away from cheap, bargain store products, as well as Crutchfields, they charge way too much, and then you get stuck for shipping!
