Earth Magnets Help Pull It Together In Many Practical Functions
Small in size but holding massive strength, rare earth magnets are the strongest permanent magnets currently known to mankind. Despite the label, these magnets are not really "rare" at all. Rather, their name is derived from certain elements, which are naturally occurring and fall into the "rare earth" group of chemical classifications. Originally developed in the late twentieth century, these tiny power pockets not only pack of huge punch, but hold their magnetic force forever. This exceptional characteristic is the result of several traits, not the least of which is their composition. Earth magnets are found in two basic types: samarium-cobalt and neodymium-iron-boron (NIB).
Although their tremendous capabilities and very existence are unknown to most people, earth magnets are widely used in many everyday devices, which everyone is familiar with. Earth magnets are found in fishing reel brakes, computer hard disks, audio speakers, and bicycles. Expensive electronic gadgetry also frequently incorporates earth magnets: cellular telephones, scanning equipment, high-end toys, and automobiles are all popular items in which they are utilized. At present, earth magnets are relatively expensive; consequently, they have an outer nickel coating to prevent chips and breakage, as their natural texture is very brittle.
Aside from common consumer items, earth magnets are widely employed in many industrial settings. Due to their lightweight, and insensitivity to extreme temperatures, they are ideal for many business and manufacturing applications. Recycling, automotive assembly, and robotics are just a few industries, which have benefited greatly from the use of earth magnets. Earth magnets have even been used in large wind turbines to generate electrical current. Available with a pull of 92.5 to 170 pounds, rare earth magnets are so powerful that they can elevate up to 400 times their own weight!
As with all technological advances, earth magnets are getting cheaper every day - thereby paving the way for more and more industries to benefit from their amazing capabilities. Industrial operations worldwide are profiting from earth magnets' incredible physical properties. The implications are overwhelming and very exciting to contemplate!
This extreme power comes with a price, however. If you purchase an earth magnet, you should observe some basic safety precautions. Their extreme strength can cause personal injury, so they must be handled with the utmost care and caution. Smaller earth magnets are hazardous to pets and children, because of the potential to choke on them. Because they are very brittle, use care when handling earth magnets to avoid cracks, breakage, or peeling. Never place an earth magnet near a computer, cell phone, checkbook, credit card, or any other device, which may be affected by a very strong magnetic pull.
Earth magnets are here to stay, and definitely comprise the "wave of the future". Since the future is now, get an earth magnet and experience the amazing properties and practical applications for yourself. It just might be an instant attraction!

Why does one of my RF P212S4 sound so bad?
I bought 2 brand new P212S4s on ebay that were NIB. I installed them into a dual 1.25 ft3 box meeting RF specs perfectly for a sealed enclosure. One of the speakers works beautifuly with awsome responce right out of the box. The other one, however, has little-no repsonce until high amounts of power is pumped into it.. I have an RF 400.4 amp so each speaker is getting 200rms (also a perfect match).
They are wired identicaly and i have mixed and match the configurations on the amp with no help. The cone on the bad speaker, it would appear is grinding against the voice coil or somthing when it vibrates. If you were to push down on the cone, it gets stuck into the VC. I was wondering why one speaker works so great while the other is extremely bad. Is it defective or should i just slowly break the bad one in and work out the kinks?
It is defective, or was damaged in shipping. You should demand a replacement.
