How do I know if my horse is a rig or a gelding?

Hi, he is now 4 years old, he has been gelded as a yearling but he still tries to 'hump' the ladies!
He plays up when he is near mares but I don't know if this can still be known to happen when they are a gelding or not?
I know I should contact the vet to have a blood test to make sure, does anyone know how much this will cost? Also if he is a rig how much would another geld cost?

I have a gelding i can only turn out with mares, he acts like a stallion but no mounting. Blood tests i pay 65 dollars plus you'll have to pay a farm visit whatever your vet charges and gelding depends a 4 year old will cost more then doing a yearling. You'll need your vet to check this guy out.
