PS3 80 GIG models QUestion?

The new 80 gig is not compatabil with ps2 and it doesn't have any flash card readers and only two USB ports so is it worth it? should i buy or not. I like the games but maybe i can find an older model. IN other words, is this current version worth it? (also, it only has 2 USB ports so can you use like something to get more USB ports kinda like an extention or something) thanks in advance.
