Avira AntiVir Personal, Free version How does it work?

Ok so my Norton says it doesn't detect anything on my computer. So i Download this program and it scans it and says it's found 6 Viruses? Does Avira AntiVir Personal Free version only scan the computer or does it also clean them off? Or do u have to pay for that part..?

Avira will scan for and remove them for free. It is also a resident AV, so it runs in the background and scans files/programs on launch. I've used it for years and it works great. Much better than Norton! If you install Avira, just make sure to uninstall Norton first... You should only have one AV installed and running at one time.
