Suggestions for a good, cheap desktop computer package for web surfing and word processing only?

I'm interested in finding a very cheap desktop computer package (e.g. box, monitor, keyboard, mouse) for very basic computing, such as web surfing and word processing. No heavy gaming or memory-hogging apps like Photoshop, just very basic computing.
I see that there are eMachine packages at Walmart and places like that for around $400.... is this the best deal (or the average price) or are there better deals out there?

emachine computers from walmart and such are good deals, except they are verys slow memory wise. I recomend that you look for a PC with 512 mb, not 128. I know that it is for basic surfing, but it is slow, and the price difference is not much. The rest of the computer doesn't matter but my advice is to not get 128 mb, go for 512
