AT&T DSL Modem?

I HAVE AT&T DSL modem can I use my own wireless PCMCIA Netwrok card for my laptop and a wireless router to connect to the internet with my laptop or will I need something else as well to get my laptop to access the internet??

I have AT&T Yahoo! DSL modem(they offer a wireless router/modem combo but i dont have that). I have it like this:
