The third step is to remove any programs that you have had a long time and are not being used. You can do this by clicking on the "start" button, then go to "programs", click on "accessories", and then click on "disk cleanup".

This will clean up your hard drive. And it will also free up some disk space. Now you can go online to http://www.cnet.com and download some useful tools.

The last step is to purchase antivirus software. This software will help protect your computer against almost all known viruses. It will your laptop to stay on top in performance and endurance. Follow these steps and you will not have to worry about you system slowing up and causing you headaches and money in the end.
