At first i thought the order got mixed up because the screen looks a lot larger than it really is due to the sleek low profile design. The speakers are the only draw back. they are in the back so if there is no wall behind the monitor the sound goes away from you instead of towards you. I have other speakers as well so it does not matter too much. Great monitor over all! PS i also like the little parrots on the top left corner. Its an Excellent monitor and I don't think you could find a lower price. I'm very pleased with this monitor and I think you would be too.

But ViewSonic has really made a great monitor. It does lack an HDMI port. Something that does seem to be a given on modern monitors nowadays. But I knew that when I bought it. If you have a laptop port that connects it to a monitor, can and how do you use both screens as dual monitors?

I have a laptop at work that attaches to a port for use with a full size monitor and standard keyboard. I would like to use both the laptop monitor and the full size monitor as dual monitors. I am told this is possible. Is it and how?

It is possible. Just plug in the external monitor and a screen will pop up that asks you how you want to set up your external monitor. Choose to extend your desktop.
