I have a dell studio xps tower and a 17 inch dell ultrasharp monitor along with my dell 27 inch ultrasharp monitor. Both are running right now but this message is typing on both screens. How do I configure the two with my computer so that I can have separate applications on both of them with one keyboard and mouse.? You need to go into Display Properties and set the displays to work in Extended Desktop mode. And that's it.
