Honda XL125R Questions!?

hi everybody, after nearly five years of riding i figured out that i am not built for cruiser motorcycle or cruising with gaudy chrome on the road so i went on a rigorous test and figured out that ideal motorcycle for me not a cruiser but a dual purpose or off-road motorcycle. i bought my self a Honda XL125R mint condition bike. Yeap that classic red color one which i love to ride now. but i have few questions to ask.

Finding a good FREE downloadable service manual on line for that bike is not possible. Not enough were sold. So unless there is a specialized forum for the bike in which someone has painstakingly photo'd and uploaded the Honda Service Manual for others to download for free-Good luck. There should still be plenty of used manuals floating around. Do a search on ebay an BUY one. I have gotten a lot of FACTORY service manuals that way.

There should be a sticker on the bike -under a side cover, under the seat etc that has the plug and the gap listed. It has generally been on everybike since 1982. Now it may be the sticker is there but what you need is worn off. In that case, pull the old plug and go get a new one. OR do a websearch for your year,make and model of bike and it should come up with some NGK plug.

Oil changes should be every 2500-3000 miles. 10W40 for all year or 20W50 (as an alternate for summer)
