how to hook up a additional computer to to Comcast cable modem?

I have two computers, one runs on comcast DSL. I would like to run the other on the same DSL modem box.I tried it with a USB port cord but it asks for an ethernet.The moden unit has one place for USB adn one place for erthernet. Is there a ethernet spliter that would work??
