Dell tower, fans turn on, blue lights on, but no signal to motior, fan constantly running, ideas what's wrong?

tried unplugging and plugging back in. you have to hold down button, and then blue light comes on and orange light flashes and fan runs constantly, no signal to monitor. just a little over a year old. any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it.

Remove any device from your usb ports and try turning on again.

If it still acts the same....remove power from the tower and open the computer.....you need to remove the ram cards...clean the contacts and re-insert them. You can see it being done here...
