DJ - How do I broadcast a song and listen to another in my headphones?
I am a dj, using digital files. I currently broadcast a song to my amp through the "Headphone" jack (1/8" jack to RCA w/ 1/4" adapters). I want broadcast a song through my amp, and listen to another that I have on que. Is there additional hardware/software I need to make this happen?
The first poster has it right except one particular thing. You should pick your software before you pick your sound card. Make sure the software has dual outputs then check for compatible sound cards.
As long as the second sound card is ASIO compatible, you most likely be fine.
